League Bans and sent Nathan Rourke away Following Rude Actions Towards……..

The National Football League announced today that quarterback Nolan Rourke has been suspended indefinitely, effective immediately, after a series of confrontations with game officials during last Sunday’s match.

According to the league’s statement, Rourke was ejected in the 3rd quarter following what officials described as “repeated unsportsmanlike conduct and verbal abuse directed at referees.” Video from the game showed Rourke arguing a call, then continuing the argument after being flagged for a 15-yard penalty.

“Nolan’s actions do not reflect the standards of professionalism we expect from players in this league,” said Commissioner Dana Mills. “After reviewing the incident and speaking with the officiating crew, we have determined that a suspension is necessary.”

The team released a short statement saying they “respect the league’s decision” and will “support Nolan as he works through this.” Teammates declined to comment in the locker room after practice.

Rourke, 28, is in his 5th season and has been one of the team’s most talked-about players this year. The suspension means he will miss the next 4 games and will be required to complete the league’s conduct program before being eligible to return.

Fans reacted quickly on social media, with many calling for accountability while others argued the penalty was too harsh.

The league said it will revisit Rourke’s status after the 4-game ban and pending completion of counseling and a formal apology to the officiating staff.
