Two Metallica fans were arrested after a daring stunt during the band’s concert in Perth, Australia, on Saturday night. The incident occurred as the heavy metal legends were performing their penultimate song, the iconic *…And Justice for All* classic “One,” at Perth’s Optus Stadium — a moment that quickly turned chaotic when two concertgoers decided to climb one of the towering speaker stacks.

Witnesses described the scene as both shocking and dangerous, as the men were seen scaling the central tower located inside the stadium bowl, drawing the attention of thousands of fans and security personnel. The climbers reportedly reached a considerable height before police and stadium security intervened. The performance continued, though some in attendance said the crowd’s focus briefly shifted from the stage to the unfolding spectacle above.

According to Western Australia Police, the individuals — a 20-year-old man from Carey Park and a 23-year-old man from Australind — were apprehended once they descended the structure. Both were taken into custody and later charged with trespass. They are expected to appear in court at a later date to face the charges.

A police spokesperson confirmed the details in a statement: “It will be alleged the men climbed up the central tower inside the bowl at the Metallica concert held at Optus Stadium on Saturday.” Authorities emphasized that the behavior posed a significant safety risk not only to the men themselves but also to those in the vicinity.

Metallica, currently touring Australia as part of their global *M72 World Tour*, did not comment publicly on the incident. Despite the disruption, the band concluded their set without further interruptions, leaving fans to reflect on an otherwise electrifying night that briefly teetered on the edge of danger.
