Scarlet Page, born in 1971 in London, is a distinguished music photographer celebrated for her emotive and distinctive portrait style. As the daughter of Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and French model Charlotte Martin, Scarlet was born into a world rich with artistic influence. However, she forged her own path, establishing a respected career in photography independent of her famous lineage.

From an early age, Scarlet showed a strong interest in the visual arts. She pursued formal education at the University of Westminster, where she studied photography, sharpening her technical skills and creative eye. Her passion for music and imagery naturally converged, guiding her toward the niche of music photography. After university, she apprenticed with Ross Halfin, a renowned rock photographer, gaining invaluable experience and insight into capturing the raw energy and personality of musicians.

Scarlet quickly made a name for herself in the music industry, photographing some of the biggest names in rock and pop. Her portfolio boasts intimate and compelling portraits of legendary artists such as Paul McCartney, the Foo Fighters, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Her ability to connect with her subjects and capture their essence on camera has earned her widespread recognition and respect.

One of her most acclaimed projects is Resonators, a deeply personal series featuring intimate portraits of iconic guitarists—including her father, Jimmy Page. This project not only showcased her technical skill and artistic sensitivity but also highlighted her unique perspective as both an insider and an artist in her own right.

While Scarlet Page’s family background could have overshadowed her career, she has consistently proven her talent and vision, building a successful career on her own terms. Her work continues to inspire and influence the world of music photography, blending artistry with a genuine connection to her subjects.
