NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has sent a message to Alvin Kamara regarding the New Orleans Saints’ recent coaching changes. The Saints dismissed head coach Dennis Allen after a seven-game losing streak, appointing special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi as the interim head coach.

Following this transition, Kamara expressed his support for Rizzi to assume the head coaching role permanently. He took to social media, stating, “Aite my vote for head coach rhyme wit Fizzi…” This sentiment was echoed by teammate Cameron Jordan.

Earlier in the season, Kamara met with Commissioner Goodell to discuss his involvement in a 2022 incident in Las Vegas. Kamara acknowledged his wrongdoing, stating, “I was completely wrong. Embarrassed the Saints, embarrassed my family and my mother, embarrassed myself, embarrassed this city and the shield, embarrassed the NFL.”

While there is no record of a recent message from Commissioner Goodell to Kamara concerning the coaching changes, the Saints’ leadership and players are actively engaging in discussions about the team’s future direction.
