Rock titans Metallica have officially announced their upcoming world tour **“Echoes of Madness”**, created as a powerful tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne and the seismic impact he had on heavy music. The tour will span North and South America, Europe and Asia, launching next spring and running through late next year, bringing Metallica’s pyrotechnic live show to arenas worldwide while honouring Ozzy’s legacy.

The concept centres on revisiting the dark-thrilling spirit that Ozzy and his band Black Sabbath unleashed on rock. Each show opens with a dramatic orchestral-led rendition of “Crazy Train,” segueing into a set that blends Metallica classics with two or three Sabbath/Ozzy deep cuts (e.g., “Mr. Crowley,” “Paranoid”), showing both reverence and re-interpretation. In select cities the band will invite **special guests**: longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde, former Black Sabbath vocalist Ronnie James Dio’s surviving collaborators, and younger metal acts influenced by Ozzy will join for one-off “Madness Nights” — limited-edition concerts in festival mode.

Importantly, “Echoes of Madness” includes a strong charitable component. A portion of every ticket sold will support mental-health awareness and suicide-prevention programs globally—an issue Ozzy spoke about openly during his life. In certain markets, Metallica will partner with local charities to set up “Madness Support” hubs at the venues, offering counselling resources, peer-support spaces and information booths. These align with the band’s long-running “All Within My Hands” foundation, expanding the mission into the mental-health realm.

The tour thus functions on three levels: a blazing live rock event, a tribute to a seminal figure in metal, and a socially-aware movement channeling Ozzy’s spirit into positive ground-level impact. Fans are encouraged to watch for special VIP packages that include meet-&-greet photos, limited-edition vinyl of a live “Ozzy Covers” set, and access to backstage “After-Madness” sessions where mental-health professionals hold Q&A with band members. Early ticketing begins next month via presale to Metallica fan-club members; full public on-sale follows two weeks later. The echo of Ozzy’s madness will reverberate loud and clear.
