Ozzy Osbourne’s family has paid a heartfelt visit to an extraordinary tribute dedicated to the late rock icon — a massive pumpkin mural made from over 10,000 squashes.
On Saturday evening (11th October), Sharon, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne, accompanied by Kelly’s fiancé, Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, and their young son, Sidney, visited the impressive “pumpkin pyramid” at Sunnyfields Farm in Totton, Hampshire. The striking mural, which immortalizes the Black Sabbath frontman, has become the centerpiece of the farm’s annual Pumpkin Time event.
The Osbourne family received a private guided tour of the display from Sunnyfields owners Tom and Ian Nelson. Sharon and Jack even climbed aboard a cherry picker to admire the full scale of the pumpkin portrait from above — a truly emotional moment for the family.
Each year, the subject of Sunnyfields Farm’s pumpkin mosaic is chosen by a public vote. Previous designs have included *Beetlejuice*, *Paddington*, and *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, the latter earning a Guinness World Record for the largest cucurbit mural. This year, more than 70% of voters chose to honor Ozzy Osbourne following his death in July at the age of 76, a testament to his enduring legacy and impact on generations of music lovers.
The stunning Ozzy mural, made entirely from carefully arranged squashes and pumpkins, was completed by a team of 16 people in just four and a half hours. It has been on display since 4th October and is expected to draw thousands of visitors before Halloween.
Sunnyfields Farm’s Pumpkin Time event runs until 31st October and features a magical Glow Trail, six immersive themed rooms, and an unforgettable celebration of autumn — and now, a moving tribute to the Prince of Darkness himself.
