Netflix has officially announced the release of its latest biographical drama, *So What: The P!nk Alecia Story*, a compelling film chronicling the life and legacy of global pop icon Alecia Beth Moore, better known as P!nk. Set to premiere this fall, the biopic promises an unfiltered look at the singer’s meteoric rise to fame, her personal struggles, and her enduring impact on music and culture.

Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay, the film stars Florence Pugh as the fearless and rebellious P!nk, capturing the raw energy, vulnerability, and powerhouse vocals that have defined her career. The story follows Alecia’s journey from her turbulent upbringing in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to her breakout with the girl group Choice, and ultimately her evolution into one of the most influential solo artists of the 21st century.

The biopic doesn’t shy away from the darker chapters of P!nk’s life, including her battles with addiction, industry rejection, and personal heartbreak. It also highlights her resilience, activism, and her fierce dedication to family, particularly her role as a mother and wife.

P!nk herself served as an executive producer, ensuring authenticity and emotional depth in the storytelling. The soundtrack features reimagined versions of her greatest hits, as well as unreleased material pulled from her personal archives.

Critics and fans alike are already buzzing, calling the film a bold tribute to a true icon who defied genre, gender norms, and expectations. *So What: The P!nk Alecia Story* is more than just a music biopic—it’s a celebration of strength, individuality, and unapologetic self-expression.
