NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt’s enduring legacy will be honored in May 2025 through two significant events that celebrate his contributions to the sport.
On May 22, Prime Video will release the first two episodes of the four-part docuseries titled Earnhardt, offering an in-depth look at the life and career of the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion. The final two episodes will premiere on May 29. This release coincides with Prime Video’s coverage of the Coca-Cola 600, bringing Earnhardt’s story to a global audience in over 240 countries and territories .
Additionally, North Wilkesboro Speedway will commemorate what would have been Earnhardt’s 74th birthday on April 29 by reflecting on his storied history at the track. Earnhardt secured five victories at this iconic short track, including a dominant performance in the 1987 First Union 400 where he led 319 of 400 laps. The Speedway will host the 2025 NASCAR All-Star Race from May 15-18, providing fans an opportunity to celebrate Earnhardt’s legacy and the rich history of NASCAR .
