Logan Romero Plant, born in 1979, is the son of Led Zeppelin’s legendary frontman Robert Plant, but he carved out a distinct legacy of his own—this time not in music, but in craft beer. After performing in rock bands like Sons of Albion, Logan transitioned from the stage to the bar, channeling his creative energy into brewing. Inspired by the bold flavors and innovative spirit of the American craft beer movement, he founded Beavertown Brewery in London in 2011.

The brewery’s journey began humbly in the basement of Logan’s barbecue restaurant, Duke’s Brew & Que, located in Hackney. Driven by a passion for quality and experimentation, Logan quickly turned Beavertown into one of the UK’s most influential craft beer brands. With standout brews like Neck Oil, a session IPA, and Gamma Ray, an American Pale Ale, Beavertown captured the imagination of beer lovers with its vibrant artwork and unapologetically hoppy profiles.

As the brand gained momentum, it attracted the attention of industry giants. In 2018, Heineken purchased a minority stake, helping Beavertown expand its production with a state-of-the-art facility known as Beaverworld. The brewery’s growth culminated in 2022 when Heineken acquired full ownership. Around this time, Logan stepped down as CEO but remained involved in the company’s creative direction.

Despite stepping back from daily operations, Logan Plant’s impact on the UK craft beer scene is undeniable. He helped shift the narrative around British beer, infusing it with a rock-and-roll edge and international flair. Beavertown’s success under his leadership stands as a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and vision, proving that while he inherited musical roots, he built his own legacy—one pint at a time.
