Logan Plant, born in 1979 and son of Led Zeppelin’s iconic frontman Robert Plant, has forged a unique path as both a creative entrepreneur and innovator. Growing up immersed in music, Logan initially followed in his father’s footsteps, leading bands such as Sons of Albion as a singer. However, a pivotal trip to Brooklyn ignited a new passion—not for music, but for craft beer. This newfound obsession inspired him to launch Beavertown Brewery in 2011, starting modestly in the basement of his London BBQ restaurant.

Under Logan’s visionary leadership, Beavertown quickly transformed from a small-scale operation into one of the UK’s most celebrated craft beer brands. The brewery distinguished itself through bold, experimental brews and eye-catching comic-style artwork crafted by designer Nick Dwyer. Signature beers like Gamma Ray, a vibrant American-style IPA, and Neck Oil, a refreshing session ale, captured the imagination of beer enthusiasts across Britain. These innovative offerings helped reshape the British beer landscape, attracting a loyal following and raising the profile of craft brewing nationwide.

Beavertown’s growth caught the attention of global beverage giant Heineken, which made a minority investment in 2018 to support expansion. Four years later, in 2022, Heineken acquired the remaining shares, enabling Logan to step down as CEO and transition into an advisory role. Despite stepping back from day-to-day operations, Logan Plant continues to be a respected figure in the beer industry, admired for his entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to create a brand that balances bold creativity with authentic independence.

Logan’s journey—from musical roots to brewing innovation—showcases his talent for building a distinctive legacy, one that stands proudly alongside the legendary career of his father while carving out its own bold identity in the world of craft beer.
