Following the massive success of their 2023–2025 global run, the band is gearing up to deliver an even more explosive experience — bringing their signature dual-night “No Repeat Weekend” shows to new cities and countries around the world.

 

The 2026 tour will kick off in **March** with a string of stadium dates across **South America**, before heading to **Europe**, **Asia**, and **Australia**, and finally wrapping up with a triumphant homecoming leg in **North America** by late August. Each weekend will feature two completely unique setlists and stage setups — ensuring fans get two distinct shows filled with career-spanning classics, deep cuts, and material from their latest album, *72 Seasons*.

 

Frontman **James Hetfield**, drummer **Lars Ulrich**, guitarist **Kirk Hammett**, and bassist **Robert Trujillo** have promised fans “a celebration of heavy metal’s enduring spirit.” Hetfield shared, “This tour has reminded us of why we started this journey — the connection, the chaos, and the community. 2026 will be even louder.”

 

The groundbreaking M72 stage design — a circular setup placing fans 360° around the band — will return, along with the “Snake Pit” at center stage, offering a truly immersive experience. Supporting acts for this leg have yet to be announced, but industry insiders hint at major rock and metal names joining the ride.

 

Tickets go on sale **next month**, with exclusive pre-sales for members of Metallica’s **Fifth Member fan club**. With over four decades of dominance and still no signs of slowing down, Metallica’s 2026 tour promises to be another defining chapter in the band’s legendary legacy — a global thunderstorm only Metallica can unleash.
