Led Zeppelin icon Robert Plant has officially announced the release of his forthcoming studio album *Saving Grace*, arriving Friday, September 26, 2025. A deeply personal project and a long-gestating labor of love, *Saving Grace* marks Plant’s first full-length release with his ensemble of the same name, a group of kindred spirits he describes as “a family formed not by blood, but by melody.”

Recorded intermittently between April 2019 and January 2025 across the Cotswolds and along the Welsh Borders, the album is a ten-track sonic exploration of folk roots, gospel echoes, Celtic threads, and timeless storytelling. Alongside Plant, the lineup includes the stirring vocals of Suzi Dian, the percussive finesse of Oli Jefferson, the intricate guitar work of Tony Kelsey, Matt Worley on banjo and strings, and Barney Morse-Brown adding the cello’s resonant textures. Together, they weave a hauntingly beautiful tapestry that feels both ancient and alive.

Speaking on the album, Plant reflected warmly on his connection with the band: “We laugh a lot, really. I think that suits me. I like laughing. Music is so often about intensity and emotion, but laughter keeps the soul honest.”

Described by Plant as “a songbook of the lost and found,” *Saving Grace* features a mix of original material and reimagined traditional songs—each one imbued with the collective’s unique energy and Plant’s unmistakable voice, weathered with experience yet brimming with life.

For fans of Plant’s expansive post-Zeppelin journey—from the mysticism of *The Mighty ReArranger* to his celebrated work with Alison Krauss—*Saving Grace* promises a fresh chapter, rooted in authenticity and driven by connection. As Plant puts it: “This is music made with joy, built on friendship, and anchored in the huma

n spirit.”
