OFFICIAL RELEASE: 2026 Kawasaki KX300 Launches with Global Rollout Plan
Kawasaki has officially unveiled the 2026 KX300, marking a major leap forward in the brand’s off-road racing lineup. Set to retail at $10,999 in the U.S., the KX300 will begin arriving in selected European dealerships starting in June 2025, followed by a North American debut in July, with global distribution to follow.
Building on Kawasaki’s championship-winning KX heritage, the KX300 delivers a powerful, finely tuned 292cc two-stroke engine designed for maximum torque and acceleration. Riders can expect enhanced throttle response and a broader powerband thanks to the re-engineered exhaust port timing and optimized reed valve intake system. The result is a machine that offers pro-level performance straight off the showroom floor.
Key to its competitive edge is the next-generation aluminum perimeter frame, inspired by Kawasaki’s KX450 design. This frame offers improved rigidity and precise handling without compromising on weight. Paired with Showa 49mm coil-spring forks and Uni-Trak rear suspension, the KX300 ensures superior stability and plush damping over rough terrain.
For 2026, Kawasaki introduces Launch Control Mode—a first for its two-stroke lineup—enabling riders to get the holeshot more consistently. Updated ergonomics with a flatter seat and adjustable handlebar mounts allow riders to customize their cockpit for optimum control and comfort.
The KX300 also includes Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system, allowing for multiple rider fit configurations, making it accessible for both amateur and pro riders alike. With aggressive new styling, factory-inspired graphics, and a redesigned radiator shroud for improved airflow, the 2026 KX300 is ready to dominate the track.
With its blend of advanced technology, aggressive performance, and rider-focused features, the all-new Kawasaki KX300 sets a new benchmark for two-stroke motocross machines in 2026.
Available June 2025 in Europe, July in North America. MSRP: $10,999 (U.S.)
