However, his time in Tennessee ended badly after a disappointing 6-11 season, and league insiders are now suggesting Dallas as a possible destination if the Cowboys decide to fire McCarthy.
Analysts have noted the Cowboys’ present direction even though no official actions have been taken. After losing to the Bengals on “Monday Night Football,” the squad is currently at 5-8 and finding it difficult to live up to expectations. Although McCarthy has received public support, including a noteworthy defense from Cowboys great Troy Aikman, who praised McCarthy’s leadership and the support of the locker room, questions remain regarding his future.
According to ESPN reports, up to seven or eight head coaching positions could open across the league next season, with Vrabel’s name firmly in the mix. However, there are other teams said to be interested in Vrabel besides Dallas. Given that former teammate Tom Brady owns a minority share in the Raiders, the franchise has also
