Jason Anderson Withdraws from Remainder of 2025 SuperMotocross Season Due to Health Concerns**

Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson has officially withdrawn from the remainder of the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship to focus on his health. The announcement, made on July 17, 2025, concludes his season and marks the end of his tenure with Kawasaki as his contract approaches expiration.

Anderson enjoyed a promising start to the year, securing three podium finishes in the opening five rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. However, his campaign began to unravel midseason due to persistent health issues.([Cycle News][3], [Racer X][4]) In April, following a family emergency that caused him to miss the Seattle Supercross, Kawasaki and Anderson revealed he would sit out the remainder of Supercross to address these ongoing concerns, with hopes of returning for the Pro Motocross

In the Pro Motocross series, Anderson’s performance remained inconsistent. He managed two seventh‑place overall finishes—at Fox Raceway and High Point—but was significantly hindered by illness. At Southwick, he failed to finish both motos, and at RedBud, he secured a 10th in the first moto but retired from the second, citing continued health struggles.

Ultimately, Kawasaki confirmed that Anderson would exit the remainder of the SuperMotocross season to prioritize recovery. Team statements highlighted his speed and competitive potential, but emphasized that health challenges prevented the consistency he expects from himself.

In his Instagram post, Anderson expressed deep disappointment with the year, acknowledging his difficulties: “Not being able to push after lap 2 every weekend is frustrating. Anytime I try to train more I keep getting sick…” He shared gratitude toward his team for their support and looked forward to spending time with family and returning in 2026.

Over his tenure with Kawasaki, Anderson earned a total of 29 podiums—highlighted by seven 450SX main event wins and two 450 Pro Motocross overall victories.
