In a moment fans have been dreaming of for years, **Geddy Lee** and **Alex Lifeson** have officially announced that **Rush** will return to the stage in **2026** for a very special North American tour. Aptly titled the **“Fifty Something Tour,”** the 12-date run is a heartfelt celebration of the band’s unparalleled musical legacy — and a powerful tribute to the late, great drummer and lyricist **Neil Peart**.

The tour will kick off in the summer of 2026, with stops planned in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. Joining Geddy and Alex on drums will be the acclaimed **Anika Nilles**, a German drummer known for her extraordinary technique, energy, and creativity. Nilles has already received overwhelming support from fans after the announcement, with many praising her as a perfect choice to honor Peart’s intricate and legendary drumming style.

In their joint statement, Lee and Lifeson shared: *“This tour is about celebrating the music, the memories, and the brotherhood that Rush has always stood for. Neil will always be at the heart of what we do.”*

The duo also hinted that “another musician or two” will join them on stage, sparking speculation about potential special guests or collaborators. Tickets are expected to sell out fast once they go on sale.

This will mark Rush’s first tour since 2015, making the **Fifty Something Tour** one of the most anticipated rock events in recent memory. For longtime fans and new generations alike, this is more than just a tour — it’s the revival of a legendary band’s spirit.

Stay tuned for the full list of tour dates and ticket information coming soon.
