A Huge Thank You – Help Me Find These Kind American Lads!
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out in the hope that this message might somehow reach three amazing American lads who showed an incredible act of kindness outside the Aston Villa stadium yesterday.
My son, who is autistic and a huge Villa fan, was outside the stadium hoping just to sit nearby and listen to the match. As he stood there, three young American lads approached him and asked if he needed a ticket. When he said yes and asked how much, they simply handed him the ticket and told him it was free.
They explained that they’d travelled all the way from New York for the game, but their friend had become too ill to attend. Rather than sell the spare ticket, they wanted to give it away—and chose my son.
They’ll never know the impact that small act had. What they did meant the absolute world to him. Instead of sitting on the grass outside, he got to be inside the stadium, soaking in every moment of the match. He came home smiling from ear to ear—it was a dream come true for him.
If anyone knows who these lads might be, or if by some miracle this post reaches them, I’d love the chance to thank them properly and offer something in return for their generosity.
What they did was more than kind—it was unforgettable.
