Slash stated, “2025 is all about Guns N’ Roses,” indicating that the band is actively working on new material .

McKagan echoed this sentiment, confirming that the band has been collaborating on fresh content . Insiders suggest that the upcoming album will feature contributions from core members Axl Rose, Slash, and McKagan, aiming to recapture the raw energy reminiscent of their classic albums like Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusion.

In addition to the new album, Guns N’ Roses have announced the “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour, set to span from May to July 2025. The tour will cover various cities across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, including performances in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, London, and Munich. Notably, this tour will introduce drummer Isaac Carpenter, who replaces longtime member Frank Ferrer .
