Motorcycling Australia (MA) has officially announced the four talented young riders who will represent the nation at the prestigious 2025 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, set to take place in Heerde, the Netherlands, this July. This annual event gathers the world’s most promising motocross talent, and Australia is sending a strong team ready to compete on the international stage.

The selected riders will compete across three different classes: 65cc, 85cc, and 125cc. Representing Australia in the 65cc category is **Jaxon Harris**, a rising star known for his aggressive riding style and technical skills well beyond his years. Harris has made waves in domestic junior competitions and is eager to prove himself among the world’s best.

In the 85cc division, **Taj Marshall** will carry the green and gold. Marshall has shown consistent growth and podium finishes in the national circuit, and his disciplined training approach and track awareness make him a formidable competitor.

For the highly competitive 125cc class, Australia will be represented by two standout riders: **Liam Owens** and **Zane Dunlop**. Owens, a multiple-time national junior champion, has been on the radar of international scouts thanks to his explosive speed and mature racecraft. Dunlop, known for his resilience and adaptability to varying track conditions, rounds out the team with strong credentials and a hunger to make his mark globally.

Motorcycling Australia’s National Development Manager praised the selection, saying, “This is a proud moment for the riders, their families, and the entire Australian motocross community. These athletes represent the future of our sport, and their hard work and dedication have earned them this incredible opportunity.”

The FIM Junior Motocross World Championship has long been a launchpad for future stars, including the likes of Jeffrey Herlings and Ken Roczen. Competing in the Netherlands—on one of Europe’s most demanding sand tracks—will test the riders’ stamina, skill, and strategic thinking.

MA will support the team with coaching, logistics, and technical assistance in the lead-up to the event, ensuring the riders are well-prepared both physically and mentally.

With a legacy of strong performances in previous championships, all eyes will be on this next generation of Aussie motocross talent as they gear up to battle the best juniors from around th

e world in July.
