Def Leppard will be honored with the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9, celebrating their legendary career and global impact on rock music history.

Rock legends Def Leppard are set to be immortalized in Hollywood history as they receive the 2,825th star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony will take place on October 9 at 11:30 a.m. local time at 1750 N. Vine Street, directly in front of the iconic Capitol Records Building.

The honor celebrates the band’s extraordinary career, spanning over four decades, during which they became one of the most influential rock groups in the world. Def Leppard’s blend of powerful guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and anthemic choruses produced global hits such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Hysteria,” “Photograph,” and “Love Bites.” Their music not only dominated charts but also helped define the sound of an era, selling more than 110 million albums worldwide.

Adding to the occasion, Jon Bon Jovi — frontman of Bon Jovi and a longtime admirer of Def Leppard — will deliver a special tribute speech at the event. His presence highlights the mutual respect and camaraderie between two of rock’s most enduring bands.

Def Leppard expressed gratitude to their global fanbase, saying: “Honoured to share that we will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9, courtesy of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. None of this would be possible without YOU. Thank you.”

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, echoed that sentiment: “Def Leppard has earned a permanent place not only in music history, but now on one of the most famous sidewalks in the world.”

For Def Leppard, this milestone cements a legacy built on resilience, reinvention, and a sound that continues to inspire new generations. Their star will stand as a symbol of their lasting impact on music and culture worldwide.
