The Southeastern Conference (SEC) men’s basketball season has concluded, and the USA TODAY Sports Network has announced its 2025 All-SEC awards, highlighting the league’s standout performers.
Player of the Year: Auburn University’s forward Johni Broome has been named the SEC Player of the Year. Broome led the Tigers to a remarkable 27-3 overall record and a 15-2 conference mark, securing at least a share of the SEC regular-season title. In their recent 94-78 victory over Kentucky, Broome contributed significantly, despite a below-average performance, with notable contributions from teammates Miles Kelly, Chad Baker-Mazara, and Tahaad Pettiford.
Coach of the Year: Bruce Pearl of Auburn University has been honored as the SEC Coach of the Year.
