Former Alabama Commit Jamarrion Gordon Includes Ole Miss in Final Schools
Jackson (Ala.) three-star safety Jamarrion Gordon remains one of the most sought-after defensive backs in the Southeast, and Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels are still firmly in the mix.
The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect was previously committed to Alabama before flipping to UCF, but his recruitment remains open as several SEC programs continue to push for his signature. Ole Miss has been among the most persistent, making the cut as Gordon recently trimmed his list of finalists.
Gordon has showcased impressive athleticism and versatility in the secondary, making him a priority target for multiple Power Five programs. His ability to play both safety and cornerback, along with his physical playing style, has drawn attention from schools looking to add a dynamic presence to their defensive backfield.
Despite his current commitment to UCF, the battle for Gordon’s services appears far from over. The Rebels, along with other SEC contenders, are working to flip him once again before National Signing Day.
Kiffin and his staff have made significant strides in recruiting elite defensive talent, and landing Gordon would further solidify their efforts in strengthening the secondary. As the recruiting cycle progresses, Ole Miss remains a team to watch in Gordon’s recruitment.
