COLE DAVIES SET FOR 250MX DEBUT AT UNADILLA THIS SATURDAY

Young New Zealander Cole Davies is set to make his much-anticipated debut in the 250MX class this Saturday at Unadilla, Round 10 of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship. After a successful run in the Supercross Futures program earlier this year, the 17-year-old will now test his skills against the top outdoor racers in the world.

Davies has shown promise throughout his amateur and developmental career, gaining attention for his smooth riding style, technical ability, and race IQ well beyond his years. Backed by the factory-supported Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team, he’s had the benefit of training alongside some of the best riders in the paddock as he prepares to step onto the professional stage.

“I’m really excited to finally line up for my first Pro Motocross race,” Davies said. “Unadilla is a legendary track, and I’ve been working hard with the team to be ready. I know it’s going to be a big step up, but I’m looking forward to learning, gaining experience, and seeing where I stack up.”

Team officials have emphasized that the focus for Davies this weekend is on gaining experience and building a foundation for the future rather than chasing results. With deep ruts, high-speed sections, and a notoriously rough layout, Unadilla is known for exposing weaknesses—making it a true test for any rookie.

As the series enters its final stretch, all eyes will be on the #XXX Yamaha as Cole Davies takes his first gate drop in the 250MX class. Fans and industry insiders alike will be watching closely to see how the Kiwi talent adapts to the intense competition and grueling pace of American outdoor motocross.

Round 10 of the Pro Motocross Championship kicks off Saturday, August 16, at Unadilla MX in New Berlin, New York.
