Chase Sexton has confirmed that he will **miss the final two rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship**, following a crash at the Ironman National that severely impacted his right shoulder and left him physically compromised. With that being said it’s in my best interest to get ready for SMX and come in at 100%.”

The crash wasn’t just a rider error—it was caused by debris clogging the rear brake system, which forced the failure and ultimately led Sexton to walk away from the second moto. ([NBC Sports][2], [Racer X][3]) Despite the dramatic DNF, he was upbeat, expressing optimism about his prior performance right before the crash: “I’m still encouraged by my riding and am happy with how it was going up until that point.”

Importantly, Sexton has made it clear that **he plans to return in time for the SMX Playoffs in Charlotte, North Carolina**—aiming to be fully recovered when the SuperMotocross World Championship playoffs begin.
