BYU Signee AJ Dybantsa Celebrates McDonald’s All-American Honor

BYU signee AJ Dybantsa has added another prestigious accolade to his growing résumé, earning a spot on the 2025 McDonald’s All-American roster. The five-star prospect, widely regarded as one of the top high school basketball players in the country, celebrated the achievement with family, friends, and teammates.

Dybantsa, a 6-foot-8 forward known for his elite scoring ability and versatility, has been a dominant force at Prolific Prep (CA). His selection for the McDonald’s All-American Game solidifies his status among the best young talents in the nation.

“I’m beyond grateful for this honor,” Dybantsa said. “It’s something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I wouldn’t be here without my coaches, teammates, and family pushing me every step of the way.”

The McDonald’s All-American Game, which showcases the top high school seniors, has featured legends like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Zion Williamson. Dybantsa’s inclusion highlights BYU’s growing presence in the national recruiting landscape, as he becomes the program’s highest-rated signee in history.
