In a significant move within Papua New Guinea’s rugby league landscape, veteran player and coach Wartovo Puara Jr has announced his departure from the SP PNG Hunters to rejoin the Agmark Gurias for the upcoming season.
Puara, a foundational member of the PNG Hunters since their inception in 2014, has been instrumental in the team’s successes, including their 2017 Queensland Cup premiership victory.
