James Hetfield, the iconic frontman of Metallica, has officially announced the band’s 2026 World Tour, “One Last Ride”, a soul-stirring revival that promises to breathe new life into the timeless spirit of rock. The tour will span across six continents, covering over 40 cities, and feature a mix of stadiums and massive open-air venues.
The tour kicks off on April 3, 2026, in San Francisco, USA, and will make stops in major cities such as London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Johannesburg, and Mexico City. The final show is scheduled to take place in Rio de Janeiro in December 2026, marking nearly nine months of non-stop performances.
Fans can expect an unforgettable show, with a redesigned stage, visuals, and lighting, creating a 360-degree experience. The setlist will feature a mix of Metallica’s classic hits, such as “Enter Sandman”, “One”, and “Nothing Else Matters”, as well as newer songs from their recent album, “72 Seasons”.
Tickets will go on sale starting November 10, 2025, with pre-sale options available exclusively to Metallica Fan Club members. VIP packages will include premium seating, soundcheck access, commemorative merchandise, and exclusive backstage content.
