New Signing Sexton Welcomed to KTM by De Coster
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has officially welcomed Chase Sexton to its ranks, with team manager Roger De Coster personally greeting the 2023 AMA Supercross champion. The high-profile signing marks a significant shift for both Sexton and KTM as they look to dominate the upcoming seasons in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross.
Sexton, who previously rode for Team Honda HRC, brings with him a reputation for speed, style, and determination. His move to KTM has been one of the most talked-about changes in the paddock, signaling KTM’s continued commitment to championship contention.
De Coster, a legendary figure in the motocross world, expressed confidence in the 24-year-old rider’s potential. “Chase is a great fit for our program,” said De Coster. “He’s a talented rider with a strong work ethic, and we believe he has what it takes to win titles with KTM.”
The team has already begun off-season testing, with Sexton adapting to the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition. Early reports suggest that Sexton is quickly finding comfort on the orange machine, which could spell trouble for his competition when the gate drops in 2025.
Sexton acknowledged the weight of expectations but remains optimistic. “It’s an honor to join KTM and work with someone like Roger De Coster,” he said. “This is a fresh start, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
With the combined experience of De Coster and the drive of Sexton, KTM looks poised to make a serious run at championships in both Supercross and Motocross. Fans won’t have to wait long to see how the new partnership performs, as all eyes will be on Sexton when the 2025 season kicks off.
