Bon Jovi has officially confirmed a triumphant return to the road in 2026 with their **Forever Tour**, marking their first full-scale live run since frontman **Jon Bon Jovi** underwent major vocal cord surgery in 2022.

The tour is set to kick off on **July 7, 2026**, with a special four-night residency at **Madison Square Garden** in New York City, before moving on to stadiums in the UK and Ireland — including **Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium**, **Dublin’s Croke Park**, and closing at **Wembley Stadium in London** on September

Jon Bon Jovi, now 63, expressed deep gratitude and humility in announcing the tour, thanking fans and his bandmates for their patience during his recovery.  He likened his rehabilitation process to that of an athlete: after his surgery, he had to retrain not just his voice but his stamina — “slowly walk until he can run,” as he put it.

The break from touring followed a serious medical issue: in 2022, one of Jon’s vocal cords was found to be atrophying, and he underwent a reconstructive procedure (medialisation thyroplasty) to restore function. Since then, he’s been on a rigorous daily regimen of voice therapy and rehabilitation, refusing to return until he felt confident he could deliver full, high-energy performances night after night.

Alongside the tour, Bon Jovi is releasing **Forever (Legendary Edition)**, a reimagined version of their recent album that features collaborations with major artists like **Bruce Springsteen**, **Lainey Wilson**, **Jelly Roll**, **Robbie Williams**, and **Avril Lavigne**. ([People.com][1]) Jon described the album as “born out of necessity,” a project reflecting resilience, friendship, and the support he received while he was recovering.

For him, coming back to perform isn’t just about nostalgia or legacy — it’s a deeply personal mission. He’s spoken candidly about how he was prepared to step away from performing entirely if his voice didn’t recover. ([Business Insider][5]) But now, he says, he feels “ready and excited” to return to the stage, believing he can once again do the demanding 2.5-hour shows.

In short, the Forever Tour represents both a celebration and a comeback — a testament to Jon Bon Jovi’s determination, the band’s enduring bond, and their gratitude for fans who’ve stayed with them through his health struggles.
