To my fellow SEC coaches, players, and fans,

As we embark on another thrilling chapter of SEC women’s basketball, I want to take a moment to express my deep admiration for this conference and the remarkable individuals who make it so special. Coaching in the SEC is a privilege—one that brings out the best in all of us, pushing our teams to reach new heights.

At LSU, we embrace the challenge of competing against the best, and that’s exactly what the SEC represents. Every night, whether at home or on the road, we step onto the court knowing we’ll face elite talent, passionate fan bases, and coaching minds that demand excellence. The intensity of SEC basketball is what makes this conference second to none.

But beyond the wins and losses, I want to acknowledge something greater—the spirit of competition and the mutual respect we have for each other. This game is bigger than any one team. It’s about growing women’s basketball, inspiring young girls who dream of playing at this level, and showcasing the grit, determination, and heart that define our sport.

To the players—keep playing with passion. You are the heart of this game, and your dedication does not go unnoticed. To my fellow coaches—keep pushing the game forward. Your leadership and commitment to your programs are shaping the future of women’s basketball. And to the fans—thank you. Your energy, love for the game, and unwavering support make SEC basketball what it is today.

As the season unfolds, there will be intense battles, unforgettable moments, and lessons learned on and off the court. But through it all, we remain united in our love for this sport and our commitment to making the SEC the gold standard of women’s basketball.

Let’s continue to elevate the game together.
