Amiya Joyner, a standout forward from East Carolina University, has committed to LSU for the upcoming season. Standing 6’2″, Joyner has been a dominant force in the American Athletic Conference, earning First-Team All-Conference honors in 2025 after averaging 14.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game
Throughout her tenure at ECU, Joyner has consistently been a double-double machine, recording 13 double-doubles in the 2024–25 season alone. Her remarkable performance includes a career-high 32 points and 15 rebounds in a game against Howard, marking the first 30/15 game for the Pirates since 2004 Additionally, she achieved a program-record nine consecutive double-doubles from February to March 2025
