ACCEPT’s Wolf Hoffmann Talks Career and Upcoming Fall US Tour: “My Heart Has Always Been Into Music”
Wolf Hoffmann, the legendary guitarist and founding member of German heavy metal pioneers ACCEPT, continues to show no signs of slowing down. With a career spanning over four decades, Hoffmann remains passionate about creating and performing music. “My heart has always been into music,” he shares. “Even after all these years, getting on stage still gives me the same rush it did when we first started.”
ACCEPT is preparing for a highly anticipated US tour this fall, promoting their latest album Humanoid. The record has received strong reviews for blending the band’s classic heavy sound with modern production. “We’re proud of this album,” Hoffmann says. “It stays true to our roots but also pushes boundaries in a fresh way. The fans have really connected with it, which is always the goal.”
Hoffmann reflects on ACCEPT’s enduring legacy and the challenges of staying relevant. “The music industry has changed a lot, but the love for metal is still strong. We’ve evolved with the times without compromising who we are.” He credits the band’s dedicated fanbase for their longevity and success. “We’re lucky to have such loyal supporters—they’ve been with us through it all.”
As for the upcoming tour, fans can expect a powerful setlist that spans the band’s iconic catalog along with new material. “We’re bringing the full ACCEPT experience,” Hoffmann promises. “Loud, energetic, and full of metal spirit.”
At 65, Hoffmann still radiates the same fiery dedication that made him a metal icon. “Retirement? Not even close. As long as I can play, I’ll keep going. This is what I live for.”
The fall tour kicks off in September and promises to be a must-see for metal fans across the country.
