Led Zeppelin Tear Into 2025 Tour With New Drummer and a Shocking Opening Song

Led Zeppelin has ignited the rock world with the announcement of their 2025 reunion tour, marking their first extensive live performances since 2007. The tour, titled “The Led Zeppelin Legacy Tour 2025,” is set to begin on June 10, 2025, at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium .

This monumental tour will feature surviving original members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones, with Jason Bonham—son of the late drummer John Bonham—joining on drums. The band has been rehearsing extensively over the past year, diving deep into their iconic catalog to recreate the raw power of their original performances. The tour will span major cities across North America, Europe, and parts of Asia, including stops in New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, Tokyo, and Sydney

In a surprising twist, the band plans to open their shows with a reimagined version of “When the Levee Breaks,” a track that, while not typically used as an opener, sets a powerful tone for the concerts. Fans can also expect to hear timeless classics like “Stairway to Heaven,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Black Dog,” and “Kashmir,” along with a few surprises and possibly reimagined versions of lesser-performed tracks .

Tickets for the tour go on sale April 25, with a special pre-sale for fan club members starting April 22. Given the band’s legendary status and the rarity of this opportunity, demand is expected to be extraordinarily high

With this tour, Led Zeppelin aims to celebrate their unparalleled legacy and introduce their legendary sound to a new generation of fans. The Legacy Tour 2025 is more than a concert series—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime rock and roll event
