Metallica Announces 2026 Global Tour — full dates and cities revealed! 

Metallica is back — louder, bolder, and more unstoppable than ever. The legendary heavy metal titans have officially announced their 2026 Global Tour, marking one of the most anticipated returns in rock history. After years of speculation and cryptic social media teases, fans around the world can finally rejoice as the band reveals the full list of dates and cities for what promises to be a career-defining series of performances.

 

The tour kicks off on March 14, 2026, in Los Angeles, before blazing through North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Major stops include Mexico City, São Paulo, London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Sydney, and New York City, with additional festival appearances and surprise club shows rumored to follow. Each night will feature a mix of Metallica’s most iconic anthems — from “Enter Sandman” and “Master of Puppets” to deeper cuts that hardcore fans have been begging to hear live.

 

According to frontman James Hetfield, the 2026 Global Tour will celebrate the band’s “enduring bond with fans and the unbreakable power of live music.” Guitarist Kirk Hammett added that the set design and visual production will be “unlike anything Metallica has ever done before,” hinting at a multi-stage setup and immersive audio experience.

 

Tickets go on sale November 15, 2025, with exclusive pre-sale access for members of the Metallica Fan Club.
