**Ohio State Was Always Brady Edmunds’ Goal: Elite 2027 QB Reflects on Decision, Reacts to National Title**

Brady Edmunds, one of the most highly-touted quarterback prospects in the Class of 2027, recently made headlines by committing to Ohio State University. Known for his remarkable arm strength, football IQ, and leadership on the field, Edmunds’ decision comes as no surprise to those familiar with his upbringing and career aspirations.

“Growing up, Ohio State was always the dream,” Edmunds said during an exclusive interview. “From watching games with my family to idolizing some of the greats who came through the program, it’s been my goal to wear the scarlet and gray for as long as I can remember.”

The 6’3″, 200-pound signal-caller from Dallas, Texas, had offers from nearly every powerhouse program, including Alabama, Georgia, and USC. However, Edmunds cited Ohio State’s storied history of developing quarterbacks and the program’s consistent contention for national championships as key factors in his decision. “Ohio State has the tools and resources to make me the best player I can be,” he said. “Coach Day’s offense is explosive, and I believe I can thrive in that system.”

Edmunds’ commitment came just weeks after Ohio State captured the 2026 national championship in a dramatic showdown against Georgia. The victory only strengthened Edmunds’ belief that he had chosen the right program. “Watching that game was surreal,” he said. “Seeing the passion, the preparation, and the execution—there’s no better place to compete for championships. I want to be a part of that legacy.”

Edmunds has already drawn comparisons to Ohio State legends such as C.J. Stroud and Justin Fields due to his dual-threat capabilities and poise under pressure. His high school coach, Marcus Reynolds, describes him as “a generational talent with the work ethic to match.”

With his decision behind him, Edmunds now focuses on finishing his high school career strong and preparing for the challenges of college football. “It’s a blessing to have this opportunity, but I know the real work starts now,” he said. “I’m ready to give everything I’ve got to Ohio State and prove why I belong.”

For the Buckeyes, Edmunds’ commitment is a massive win as they continue to solidify their future at quarterback. Fans eagerly await the day he steps onto the field at The Shoe, ready to carry on the program’s championship tradition.
