One of the standout performers at the Back to the Beginning concert with his phenomenal cover of Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes’, Yungblud has now posted an incredible video of a beautiful moment backstage between him and Ozzy Osbourne. Speaking to Kerrang! Radio earlier this year, Yungblud – real name Dominic Harrison – revealed to Loz Guest he was gifted a cross by The Prince of Darkness when Ozzy had a cameo his ‘The Funeral’ music video three years ago. “(Ozzy) gave me this cross around my neck that I wear every day,” Yungblud told Loz. “I think a moment where Ozzy Osbourne hands you his cross and says, ‘I hope this brings you luck’ was a pretty crazy moment.” Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (8th July), Yungblud shared the tender moment he returned the favour by handing Ozzy a new custom diamond-encrusted cross at Villa Park hours before Black Sabbath’s final performance. “Look, I’ve made you something. Obviously you gave me your cross, and I wanted to return the favour, so I made you something,” Yungblud says while handing Ozzy a wooden box. “I’ve got mine on. I never took mine off, so I wanted to return the favour.” Opening the box, a visibly moved Ozzy tells Yungblud: “Oh my god, that’s f—ing unbelievable!” and he immediately puts the cross on. Thanking Yungblud, Ozzy then gives him a hug and a kiss

One of the most touching moments from the *Back to the Beginning* concert didn’t happen on stage—it happened backstage, between two generations of rock icons. Yungblud, known for his electrifying presence and fearless performances, delivered a stunning cover of Black Sabbath’s classic “Changes” at the historic event. But it was his heartfelt interaction with Ozzy Osbourne that truly stole fans’ hearts.

Yungblud—real name Dominic Harrison—has long spoken about his deep admiration for Ozzy. In an interview with Kerrang! Radio earlier this year, he recalled a surreal experience from three years ago when Ozzy made a cameo in his music video for *The Funeral*. During that shoot, Ozzy gave him a deeply personal gift: the cross around his own neck.

> “I think a moment where Ozzy Osbourne hands you his cross and says, ‘I hope this brings you luck’ was a pretty crazy moment,” Yungblud told Kerrang!’s Loz Guest. “I wear it every day.”

Fast forward to July 8th, backstage at Villa Park—just hours before Black Sabbath’s final performance—Yungblud returned the favor. In a tender video posted to Instagram, he presents Ozzy with a custom-made, diamond-encrusted cross, housed in a wooden box.

> “Obviously, you gave me your cross,” Yungblud says, “and I wanted to return the favour. I’ve got mine on—I never took it off.”

Ozzy’s reaction is instant and emotional.

> “Oh my god, that’s f—ing unbelievable!” he exclaims, clearly moved, before putting the cross on immediately.

The moment ends with a hug and a kiss—two generations of rock bound together by mutual respect and a shared love for music that transcends time. It’s more than a gift—it’s a symbol of legacy, gratitude, and the passing

of the torch.
