Netflix has officially announced the production of *Prince of Darkness: The Ozzy Osbourne Story*, a highly anticipated biopic that delves into the tumultuous life and enduring legacy of the legendary rock icon. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lisa Johnson, known for her work on character-driven music documentaries, the film promises an intimate portrayal of Ozzy Osbourne’s journey from his early days with Black Sabbath to his solo career and personal struggles.
The film stars British actor Jack O’Connell as Ozzy Osbourne, with Florence Pugh portraying Sharon Osbourne. The cast also includes Ben Whishaw as Tony Iommi, Joe Cole as Randy Rhoads, and Imelda Staunton and Stephen Graham as Ozzy’s parents. Critics have praised O’Connell’s performance, noting his transformation into the role and the chemistry between him and Pugh.
