**Smooth, Rich, and Dark: New Lager Set to Pay Tribute to Birmingham Metal Legends Black Sabbath**

Raise your glasses, metalheads—something wickedly delicious this way comes. In a fusion of heavy metal and craft brewing, a brand-new lager is set to launch in 2026 that pays homage to the dark, thunderous legacy of Birmingham’s own **Black Sabbath**, the pioneering band that gave birth to heavy metal as we know it.

Simply titled **“Iron Brew”**, this bold new lager is crafted to reflect the power, depth, and mystique of Sabbath’s music. Brewed in collaboration with Birmingham’s historic craft beer scene and officially endorsed by the band’s legacy estate, *Iron Brew* is described as “smooth, rich, and dark with a subtle bite”—echoing the band’s signature sound: uncompromising, soulful, and unforgettable.

Inspired by the gritty industrial backdrop of Birmingham that shaped the band’s early years, the lager features locally sourced barley and a unique roasting process that gives it a deep color and layered, smoky flavor. Hints of molasses, espresso, and a slightly bitter finish aim to evoke the same complexity and punch as Sabbath classics like *War Pigs* and *Children of the Grave*.

The can design, equally powerful, features iconic Black Sabbath imagery—from Tony Iommi’s silhouette to Ozzy Osbourne’s outstretched arms—against a black-on-black matte finish with gothic gold lettering. A special collector’s edition set, complete with vinyl coasters and Sabbath lyrics on the label, will also be released in limited quantities.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, *Iron Brew* offers a new way to experience the Sabbath legacy—one sip at a time. Set to debut at Birmingham’s annual Rock & Ale Festival this fall, this lager is more than just a drink; it’s a tribute to the gods of metal and the city that fo

rged them.
