Jared Curtis, a five-star quarterback from Nashville Christian School in Tennessee, has included the Georgia Bulldogs in his top six schools as he reopens his recruitment process. Curtis, who had previously committed to Georgia in March 2024, decommitted in October 2024 to explore other options.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 220 pounds, Curtis is renowned for his dual-threat capabilities. In his junior season, he completed 70% of his passes for 2,830 yards, throwing 40 touchdowns against just three interceptions. Additionally, he showcased his mobility by rushing for 637 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. His outstanding performance earned him the titles of “Mr. Football” in Tennessee and the 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state.

Curtis’s top six schools are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and South Carolina. Notably, Alabama, Ohio State, and Auburn each secured top-five quarterback prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle, potentially influencing Curtis’s decision-making process. Georgia’s offensive coordinator, Mike Bobo, has maintained a strong relationship with Curtis, even visiting him at home to watch the Orange Bowl between Notre Dame and Penn State.

As Curtis navigates his recruitment, he plans to take unofficial and official visits over the next several months before finalizing his college choice. His decision will significantly impact the 2026 recruiting landscape, and the Georgia Bulldogs remain a prominent contender for his commitment.
