Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks Announce 2026 Album *Moonlit Mirage* — A Haunting Return to Fleetwood Mac’s Ethereal Roots

Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks have officially announced *Moonlit Mirage*, a new collaborative album set for release in early 2026. Described as a “haunting return to Fleetwood Mac’s ethereal roots,” the record marks their first joint studio project in over a decade and promises a lush, atmospheric sound that pays homage to the band’s iconic ’70s mysticism.

Recorded between Maui and Los Angeles, *Moonlit Mirage* is said to blend vintage analog textures with dreamlike lyricism. Produced by Dave Stewart and co-written with a mix of longtime collaborators and fresh voices, the album reportedly features 12 tracks steeped in moonlight, memory, and melancholy. According to Fleetwood, the album is “not Fleetwood Mac, but something born of the same soul,” with Nicks’s unmistakable vocals leading the way.

The lead single, “Silver Flame,” is expected to drop in October 2025 and has already been teased as “a spiritual sister to ‘Rhiannon.’” Nicks shared in a statement, “This album came from late nights, full moons, and unfinished dreams. It feels like a spell cast long ago finally coming to life.”

While no full Fleetwood Mac reunion is currently planned, *Moonlit Mirage* will include subtle tributes to Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham, both of whom influenced the sonic palette. The album’s artwork, designed by Nicks herself, evokes desert landscapes under starry skies—a visual echo of the music’s mystical tone.

Fans can expect a short run of live performances in intimate venues following the album’s release. As Fleetwood puts it, “We’re not chasing the past—we’re letting it guide us somewhere new.”

*Moonlit Mirage* promises to be both a farewell and a rebirth—an echo of Fleetwood Mac’s magic, whispered under the night sky.
