Congratulations Def Leppard! The Sheffield rock icons will be honoured with the 2,825th star on Hollywood Walk of Fame at a ceremony next week. Def Leppard’s star is located at 1750 N. Vine Street in Hollywood directly in front of the world-famous Capitol Records Building. Bon Jovi frontman and keen Def Leppard aficionado Jon Bon Jovi will speak at the ceremony, which begins at 11.30am local time on Thursday 9th October. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the Walk of Fame on behalf of the city of Los Angeles. Honourees are selected by a committee of their peers. Def Leppard said: “Honoured to share that we will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9, courtesy of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.⁠ None of this would be possible without YOU. Thank you.” Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer, adds: “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Def Leppard to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “Def Leppard has earned a permanent place not only in music history, but now on one of the most famous sidewalks in the world.”
