Netflix has announced an upcoming documentary series that will provide an in-depth look at several Southeastern Conference (SEC) football programs during the 2024 season. While the series will cover multiple teams, notable programs like Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Missouri will not be featured. Produced by Box to Box Films, known for “Formula 1: Drive to Survive,” the eight-part series is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2025.
In addition to Netflix’s upcoming series, Fox Nation has recently debuted “The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama Football,” a docuseries offering a behind-the-scenes look at the University of Alabama’s football team during the first season after the departure of famed head coach Nick Saban. The series provides insights into the team’s dynamics and challenges during this transitional period.
