DEANO RETURNS: HRC SIGNS DEAN WILSON FOR FILL-IN RIDE
In a surprising mid-season move, Honda HRC has officially signed veteran racer Dean Wilson as a fill-in rider. With one of their factory riders sidelined due to injury, the team looked to the experienced and fan-favorite Wilson to step in and keep their program competitive.
Wilson, who has spent the last few seasons with Firepower Honda, brings a wealth of experience to the team. The Scottish-born rider has raced at the highest level for over a decade, earning a reputation for his smooth style, resilience, and ability to adapt quickly. Given his previous experience on Honda machinery, he’s expected to integrate seamlessly into the HRC program.
“I’m stoked to get this opportunity with Honda HRC,” Wilson said. “Obviously, it’s under tough circumstances, but I’m going to do my best to put in solid results for the team. I’ve been training hard, and I feel ready to go.”
