4-Star Linebacker Jarcoby Hopson Commits to Ole Miss Rebels
Ole Miss has secured a major commitment on the defensive side of the ball, as four-star linebacker Jarcoby Hopson announced his pledge to the Rebels. The Clarksdale (Miss.) standout chose Ole Miss over several top programs, giving head coach Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Pete Golding a key addition to their 2025 recruiting class.
Hopson, who is rated as one of the top linebackers in the country, has been a dominant force at Clarksdale High School. At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, he possesses the size, speed, and instincts necessary to excel in the SEC. His ability to read plays, shed blockers, and make tackles in space has made him a coveted prospect for several Power Five programs. Schools such as Mississippi State, LSU, and Tennessee were in pursuit, but the Rebels ultimately won the battle for his commitment.
