Three-Star DE Corey Adams Jr. Commits to Ole Miss
Ole Miss has added another key piece to its 2025 recruiting class with the commitment of three-star defensive end Corey Adams Jr. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound edge rusher from Houston, Texas, announced his decision on social media, choosing the Rebels over offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Texas Tech.
Adams, ranked as one of the top defensive linemen in Texas, brings a strong combination of size, speed, and physicality to the Rebels’ defense. Known for his explosiveness off the edge and ability to disrupt plays in the backfield, he recorded 12 sacks and 18 tackles for loss in his junior season at North Shore High School, one of the top programs in the state.
In his announcement, Adams cited Ole Miss’s coaching staff and defensive scheme as key reasons for his decision. “Coach [Pete] Golding and the staff made me feel like a priority from the start,” Adams said. “I love the way they use their defensive linemen, and I feel like I can develop into a dominant player in their system.”
His commitment bolsters an already strong recruiting class for head coach Lane Kiffin, who continues to attract top talent to Oxford. Adams projects as a key piece of the Rebels’ defensive front in the coming years, with the potential to make an early impact.
With his decision made, Adams now shifts his focus to his senior season, where he aims to lead North Shore to another deep playoff run. Meanwhile, Ole Miss fans can look forward to adding a high-upside pass rusher to their future defensive unit.
