BYU Football Determined to Build on Strong Start in 2024
After a promising start to their Big 12 journey in 2023, BYU football is focused on turning early momentum into sustained success in 2024. The Cougars showed flashes of competitiveness in their first season in the Power Five, but inconsistency and injuries led to a 5-7 record, leaving plenty of room for growth. Head coach Kalani Sitake and his staff have emphasized offseason improvements, key roster additions, and a renewed focus on execution as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
One of BYU’s primary areas of emphasis is offensive consistency. The schedule won’t get any easier, with matchups against Big 12 powerhouses like Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech. However, the Cougars believe their experience from last season, combined with better execution and depth, will lead to improved results.
