Lane Kiffin’s offense continued to shine in 2024, ranking among the top in the SEC. Quarterback Jaxson Dart took a step forward in his development, finishing with over 3,500 passing yards and 30+ touchdowns. The Rebels’ run game, led by Quinshon Judkins, remained dominant, with the offensive line providing solid protection. The receiving corps, headlined by Tre Harris, was explosive. However, inconsistency in red-zone efficiency kept this from being an A+.
The Rebels’ defense showed noticeable improvement under Pete Golding but still had moments of struggle, particularly against elite SEC offenses. The pass rush was a strength, led by defensive end Jared Ivey, but the secondary had lapses in coverage against top quarterbacks. The unit performed well in big moments, including key stops in the Egg Bowl and the Peach Bowl, but occasional breakdowns kept it from earning
Kicker Caden Davis was reliable, nailing multiple clutch field goals. The punt and kickoff return units provided solid field position, though there were occasional lapses in coverage.
