Haiden Deegan, the 19-year-old motocross sensation, has reportedly extended his multi-year contract with Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing through the 2025 season. This extension solidifies his position within the team, allowing him to continue his development and pursuit of championships.
Deegan’s association with Star Yamaha began in October 2021, when, at just 15 years old, he signed a multi-year deal after a successful amateur career with KTM. Since turning professional, he has achieved remarkable success, including winning the 2023 250cc SuperMotocross (SMX) Championship and the 2024 AMA Motocross 250cc Championship.
His consistent performance and potential have made him a valuable asset to the team. Jeremy Coker, the team’s manager, expressed enthusiasm about Deegan’s contributions, stating, “He has a great presence on and off the track and is a proven championship contender.”
The contract extension ensures that Deegan will continue to compete in the team’s gear and benefit from their support through the 2025 season, maintaining stability as he aims for further titles.
Deegan’s journey from a successful amateur career, highlighted by multiple championships and a world-first backflip at age 10, to his current professional achievements, underscores his dedication and skill in the sport.
With this contract extension, both Deegan and Star Yamaha Racing look forward to building on their successes and striving for more championships in the coming years.
