Dear Tennis World,
As I reflect on my journey, I’m filled with immense gratitude and appreciation for the support and love I’ve received throughout my career. It’s hard to put into words how much the tennis world has meant to me – from my early days on the court, to my triumphs and challenges, to the memories I’ve created with fans, my team, and fellow athletes. Each moment has been special, and your encouragement has helped me reach heights I never thought possible.
As you know, the past few years have been a challenging period for me. Injuries, especially to my knees, have kept me away from the court more than I would have liked. Yet, during this time, I’ve come to realize just how much tennis means to me and how deeply connected I am to this sport. The pain of missing out on competition was real, but it also reminded me of why I’ve always given my all when I step on the court.
I’ve spent months focusing on my rehabilitation, working with my doctors, my physical therapists, and my team to recover and give my body the best chance to return. It has been a long and difficult road, but with hard work, dedication, and belief, I am ready to take the next step. I’m excited to announce that I will return to competitive tennis for the 2025 season.
This decision comes after a lot of thought and reflection. It wasn’t an easy one, but I believe I can still compete at a high level and fight for the titles that have always been my goal. I have an unwavering desire to keep pushing myself and to share my love for this sport with all of you. I know that my comeback will come with its challenges, and there may be setbacks along the way, but I am prepared to face them with the same determination that has always defined my career.
I want to thank my family, my team, my fans, and the entire tennis community for your unwavering support during this time. Your messages of encouragement have kept me going, and I am truly grateful for that. I can’t wait to return to the court and share more moments with all of you.
