CONGRATS: Jimmy Page finally awarded a prestigious award of the Year 2025…

In a distinguished ceremony held on September 19, 2024, at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, D.C., legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page was honored for his monumental contributions to music and philanthropy. The event, hosted by British Ambassador Karen Pierce and UK Treasury Permanent Secretary Charles Roxburgh, celebrated Page’s over five decades of influence in British music and his charitable endeavors.

The exclusive gathering drew an array of prominent figures, including U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, Chief Justice John Roberts, and Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Organized by philanthropists Catherine and Wayne Reynolds of the Academy of Achievement, the evening featured a special performance by American singer-songwriter Grace Potter. Potter delivered a rendition of Led Zeppelin’s classic “Whole Lotta Love,” later expressing her gratitude for the experience on social media.

During his speech, Page reflected on his illustrious career, recounting experiences from his early days as a session musician, including recording “Goldfinger” with Shirley Bassey, to his tenure with The Yardbirds and the formation of Led Zeppelin. He also received a certificate from the Library of Congress, recognizing the induction of “Stairway to Heaven” into the National Recording Registry in 2023.

This honor underscores Page’s enduring legacy in the music industry and his commitment to philanthropy, marking a significant milestone in his celebrated career.
